Over fifty times in the New Testament the phrase “one another” is used to describe our relationship to other believers. The Scripture instructs us to love one another, support one another, encourage one another, pray for one another accept one another, bear one another’s burdens and build up one another.  The only way you can obey these commands is in a small group! We really do need each other.  God never meant for any of us to go it alone in the Christian life.  If you’re lonely, and want to grow in your relationship to Christ and others, the answer is to join a small group!

The central purpose of a Rockpoint Small Group is to disciple people by helping them walk with Christ. We believe a key component of discipleship is connecting with other believers around five primary priorities—the five “toes” of the Community Foot.

And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.  Acts 2:42-47
