Betty has served on the pastoral staff of Rockpoint Church since 1992. Prior to joining the staff she volunteered in various church ministries. She also worked in the business world for twenty years before entering full-time ministry.
She seeks to meet new people and help them connect into the life and ministries of Rockpoint Church. Connecting people with God and each other and networking people is important in the life of our church and something that Betty loves to do.
She has a deep love and passion for God's Word and has devoted her life to following Jesus and demonstrating and sharing the life and love of Jesus with others. She has authored and led many Bible studies and is currently leading a "Seasoned Citizens" study twice a month. Betty's life verse is Philippians 2:20-21. She is committed to taking a genuine interst in the spiritual welfare of others.
She and her husband, Ron, have three adult chidren and seven grandchildren all living in the Twin Cities area. She believes that the family table is the heart of community and loves to serve up a good meal to family and friends around the table in their Maplewood home.
She also enjoys traveling both here and abroad, spending time with her grandchildren and watching Southern gospel music videos, biblical travel videos, and Bible teaching videos. In 2008, Betty and Ron retired from twenty years of serving and giving leadership to the Crossroads Chapel Ministry at the Minnesota State Fair.
